Diary of Woo 2 / Minnesota

Aloha Friends,

It is the Big LO, writing to you from the road. You will never guess were I was last night. Minnesota! I know what you are thinking “Were the hell is Minnesota?” Like you faithful readers, I thought Minnesota was a fictional place that only existed in the minds of young children; places like Atlantis, Never-Neverland, OZ, and Vermont.

But, I ran into ol’ friend and former coach Papa Orlando. Tubby, as some of you might know him, was really working hard. For those of you who do not follow NCAA Basketball, November is a critical recruiting period for every team. And as we all know, no one is better than Orlando. Not much has changed with Orlando though, he still has that winning smile.

I got to spend some time with Orlando; he even allowed me to “recruit” with him for the day. I thought recruiting involved more interviews and phone calls and less gardening, but what do I know. Orlando spent the entire day showing me his awarding winning Distinguished Delphinium. Delphinium is a genus of about 250 species of annual, biennial or perennial flowering plants in the buttercup family Ranunculaceae, native throughout the Northern Hemisphere and also on the high mountains of tropical Africa.

I asked Orlando what his thoughts were on possible recruit Ralph Sampson III.; he only laughed. He explained to me that Ralph Sampson committed to Virginia…….in 1979! Man did I feel dumb.

If you are wondering about my stat line for the game, unfortunately I was a little late. My coached was angry so I did not log many minutes; Papa Orlando and I were at the Mall of America. He loves his roller coasters. I tried to get him into some of Minnesota's finder establishments but he refused, OTS said he has one true love at home.

Sorry ladies if you were looking for Big 48 after the game. Like Abraham Lincoln once said, “Bros before Hos.”

Next Stop Memphis! John Calipari is one hell of a coach, and I hear he is pretty good with the ladies; maybe he can be LO’s wing man.

(6:51 Minutes, 2 points, 1 Board, 0 Assist and 1 TO)

Polish Fact #2
Pope John Paul II was born in Wadowice (Krakow), Poland in 1920. He became the 265th Pope in 1978.

Life Lesson #2
Don't bring your friend to the date. For what you might ask? That is the same question my date asked. To carry out an orgy is not an answer they want to hear. Worked for ol' LO, but not for the common man...
