Know Your Unknown Wildcat

Ramon "Razor" Harris
Ramon is a guy that everyone will have their eyes on this year. For example, he started the first exhibition game against Pikesville. I am expecting a lot of good things from him this year.

From..
He was born May 26, 1988 in Anchorage, Alaska to Carmen and Bryant Bowles.
He has Four siblings , Keith, Corey, Devin, Sheayre.

Major
Business Management

High School
4A Player of the Year in Alaska, "Mr. Basketball"
Averaged 16.3 points, 13.1 rebounds and 3.5 blocks
Won 4 straight State Championships at Anchorage West High School

Recruiting Process
Ramon was recruited by several schools but he did not commit to any schools before the fall semester. Scout.com had Ramon as the
No. 9 power forward on the West Coast. After high school, he played AAU ball in the summer of 2006 with the National Christian Academy in Washington, D.C. Ramon had not met the academic requirements needed to enroll for the fall semester. Apparently once he got his grades in order it was too late to enroll for the fall.

2006-2007 Season
Played only 32 minutes in 12 games last season averaging 2.66 per game. He did not join the team until December 15th and it was evident that he did not have the defensive and offensive schemes down. Ramon should have been redshirted but Tubby Smith decided to play him instead, ruling out any chance for a redshirt later in the year.

What's Next
Hopefully Ramon will not be unknown for long. In many reports Ramon is always mentioned as one of the most improved and surprising players.
He is described as an athletic wing player and he will have to prove himself worthy of playing time over Meeks, Crawford, Jasper, and Legion just to name a few. One thing that seems unanimous is that Ramon is a great defender, combine that with a good mid-range shot and we could have a solid wing man for the next 3 years.
